Recommendations

Andres proved his proficiency to me as a translator of the booklet Cómo Conocer a Dios. He passed that test with flying colors. And when he tackled the translation task of The Twelve Points that Show Christianity is True, it was clear that Andres was great to work with, that he worked at an excellent speed, and produced a translation that impressed test readers from the Dominican Republic and from Mexican-American backgrounds. He also found at least a dozen important corrections that needed to be made in the English version which I, the editor, had somehow missed. This was particularly helpful and a pleasant (if but a little embarrassing) surprise. That goes to show how he pays attention to detail. One of the greatest challenges was translating some of the philosophically technical, thomistic jargon in the appendix. He was even able to pull that off well!
